Don Giovanni Unmasked

Don Giovanni Unmasked

Radio City

Featuring one of the world's most sensational young baritones, Russia's Dmitri Hvorostovsky, this inspired adaptation of "Don Giovanni" is a reworking of the Mozart opera from the point of view of Don Giovanni's servant, Leporello. Taking the form of a film within a film, it is simultaneously set in two separate eras - 1920s Hollywood and 17th-century Spain. Through the clever implementation of visual effects, Hvorostovsky performs the two lead roles of the Opera - Don Giovanni and Leporello. Transcending time and space, Don Giovanni Unmasked offers a tantalizing new perspective on this ultimately tragic romantic escapade.
