Negotiator

Back from leave after the death of his wife, Sao Paulo police negotiator Gabriel Menck works with his new crisis manager, Major Lara Chacur, on a robbery that turns into a hostage situation.

Menck is called in to work on a kidnapping case involving a very wealthy family in Sao Paulo. Meanwhile, internal affairs investigators look into the death of Menck's wife.

A young man holds a well-known television presenter hostage in his home. As a tactical operation gets underway, Menck attempts to negotiate with the kidnapper.

On her wedding day, a bride and her teenage son are held hostage in a crime of passion. Menck and Chacur work to keep the situation a secret, given the high profile of the bride.

Menck undergoes a long interrogation with the internal affairs officer about the night his wife, Sophia, died. Afterwards, he discovers threats to his life.

Chacur discovers the kidnapper, Santa Cruz, is holding policemen as hostages. A tense situation unfolds as Menck goes after Santa Cruz, believing he has something to do with Sophia's death.
